About the only word they are leaving out in this equation is carbohydrates.
 Refined carbohydrates are about as toxic as factory runoff for most of us.
 Neanderman had only an occasional taste of honey.  Berries and other
fruits didn't count as "refined."  When you remove sugar, starch, and flour
from the diet, good things start happening to the body.  Neanderman ate
very little starch, too, and no flour. (Starches mainly from roots and
tubers, I would imagine).
