I read Neanderthin eating a hunk of brisket (and I'm/was a vegetarian). A
Superlative book!
I have been drying the jerky in the humidifier for 24 hours. The book does
not specify how long it takes to dry the meat (other than 1 or 2 days in
the sun).
Can I over dry the meat?
What should jerky taste like without seasoning?
Is supermarket meat safe for jerky?
I left some fat on accidently (it is an inexpensive cut of meat). Is this ok?
