     In response to Don's comments about the "News Release" printed in
the conference booklet; I know it was distributed three years ago and
don't know why it wasn't updated before its current inclussion, but it
definitely was not written recently. I received the same copies when
trying to locally promote celiac awareness at least three years ago. I
KNOW CSA subscribes to the current acceptance of 1/250-300 people with
celiac in the general population, since the main speaker at the last
years conference reported this!

     The intention was good...to give folks ideas about promoting celiac
awareness, but obviously, some updating would have been wise before
including the outdated material.

     (Not trying to be confrontational....)
