I am adding my 2 cents to the Kraft Foods discussion. When I was
diagnosed in the fall of 1996 I called Kraft and was told quite abruptly
that they did NOT have a GF list because they couldn't be sure of their
suppliers and that a celiac should just not eat their products. They
were trying to avoid a lawsuit in case they were wrong about their
products. I was quite surprised to find that Kraft now has a list. I
wonder if it is in response to so many calls from Celiacs. I also
wonder if we pester them enough will more companies follow Kraft. Food
for thought I guess.
