Why don't you go to canon's web site to download the driver for
wordPerfect5.1?  I think they have it listed.

If the works doesn't print junk on the new document (not converted from
WP51,) then the problem could be the converting process.  If this is the
case, there isn't really any good solution to it.

If you have loaded the Canon printer driver for the WP51, and still have
problem.  You may want to go into printer folder.  Go to the properties of
the printer, then click "details", the button "port settings" then
unchecked "spool MS-DOS print jobs."  That should usually fix the DOS
software printing problem.
