Part of the contract documents state that if the workers make disparaging
remarks about the sidewalk that they will be removed from the project. This
has become a construction management issue as the tavern has been serving
the crew free lunches including beverages.

If nothing else, this will be a project that won't soon be forgotten.

The idea of shipping the sidewalk to Minnesota has been rejected as some
sort of weird joke, thanks anyway.

I'm thinking "outside the box here". Is there a way to get a slab from an
old sidewalk elsewhere on LI installed with the same ingredients? You
might be able to find the right amount of aging and patina (aka - GUM).
