CD ROM Drive behaving weird

Hey all,

        I have this CD which when I first inserted in my CD ROM drive worked
properly. Now, when i insert the disc and try viewing a folder, nothing
shows up. It shows that the folder is empty. If I view the same CD in
dos mode, the files appear. What could be the problem? Please help
