This reminds me of the studies that show that vegetarians are healthier
than meat eaters. In them subjects are matched merely for age, height and
gender, but not for body composition and dietary habits, such as smoking
and sugar, coffee and alcohol consumption. Also omnivores are more likely
to have a calcium poor diet and drink soft drinks.
