Your request for information is a little short on details, but the HSP
designation leads me to believe that this modem needs a virtual port set
up before installation of the hardware. Do you have a disk that came
with the modem, and does it say to run that software before modem
installation so that the modem has a port it can bind to? My old Boca
FDSP34AI and my new Zoom 56K (both winmodem-types) are like that.
