I just built a 350 AMD k6 now system
for a client. 10gig maxtor IDE drive, and 128mb pc100 sdram.
on a DFI P5BV3+ rev. B+ motherboard. Two cdroms, a DVD and a CDR (both
Panasonics)
It's an enlight Midtower ATX case so I think a 230-250 watt PS.
My client called and said the computer has a problem booting up after
being off for several hours. It gets quite a way into the boot process
and then a message will pop up stating that there is a windows
protection fault loading NTKERN or VIAG.
necessitating 3 or 4 boot attempts to boot up sucessfullly. After it
has been running for a while, it seems to restart OK.
I set the voltage on the board at 2.2 volts, correct?
Checked and rechecked the other jumpers, says it's running at 350 mhz.
I originally burned the system in for 72 hrs and it seemed to run
stable.
Any suggestions?
