Hi,

All of a sudden my modem speaker on my notebook computer is not making the
usual "connection sounds". I checked the control panel and the individual
"connectoids" and the speaker volume is on and set to high. It was working
fine until today. I uninstalled and reinstalled the modem. It is an internal
modem, not PCMCIA.

Anyone know what could cause this and how to fix it?

Thanks,

Steve
