  There are software utilities that address the same problem, but
they don't really "do LBA", and Win95 may regard the drive as stuck
in "real mode" if software is used for this.

  But since this is a hardware group, primarily, you might consider
one of the cards that has the LBA BIOS extensions on board.  You can
find IDE/multifunction cards that have this feature, or you can find
cards that *just* have the BIOS ROM on them -- ties up an ISA slot,
and costs about $25-30.
