many thanks to those who replied to my request for rich fruit cake and
weddingy food.
I had a number of posts from people telling me how to get hold of xantham
gum since we can't get it in the UK. You guys are really committed to this
stuff, aren't you? I'm not sure that I'd know what to do with it if I get
get some, but I might give it a try.
I'm going to test run a fruit cake for christmas and see how it goes.
Lots of ideas for buffets and the like. Added complications are that Phil
doesn't eat meat - but will eat fish - and I can't eat chicken since for
some wierd reason I get a gluten like reaction to it. Perhaps we will have
a seafood extravaganza plus lots of smoked salmon and champagne!
