The Houston Celiac-Sprue Support Group will be meeting on Saturday,
September 19, (1 p.m. to 3:30) at the West University Community Center
(6104 Auden at Rice Blvd.). The program is Cheap Gluten-Free Cooking, a
food demonstration with recipes, shopping list, and list of where to get
products.
Our next meeting on Sat., October 24 (1 p.m.)will feature Dr. Kenneth
Fine of Baylor Medical Center in Dallas talking about "Celiac Disease:
What's Become of It?"
This will be held at Memorial Hospital Northwest in the professional
building, 2nd floor.
We welcome anyone interested in learning about celiac disease and the
gluten-free diet. Please call for reservations at 713/783-7608 so that
we can plan for chairs and paper goods at the meetings.
