Perhaps I should explain yesterdays zealot posting. It was'ent meant to be a
flame. Since Ray wrote Neander-Thin, I have seen a large number of postings,
rationalizing the use of "Forbidden Fruit". I have also seen references to
Eaton, who's diet guide, contradicts this diet. "Some grains are OK", indeed
not! A good analogy, for those who use religion to back them selves up,
would be Paul and Christianity. Although most of his book is very
informative.
Another point, my reference to surviving any H-G nich, was responded to
irrationally with the comment that H-G's given a civil diet, would get sick,
duh! It was never considered that an Inuit, could survive on an Australian
Aborigine diet, or visa-versa.
The last part I wrote, I almost regret, except that most people can't
envision themselves, as "naked with a sharp stick". Even chimps crack nuts,
using simple tools, they just don't do it very often. Just check out Jane
Goodall.
I live in Austin, Tx. There's a hell of a lot of vegetarians here. I get
no respect. Just remember this, except for Ray, I've probably been on this
diet longer than any of you.
