   I don't have a clue about ground turkey, but my guess would be that 7
hours is long enough for a ground meat.  I tried the ground beef
mentioned on this list some time ago and it was horrible!  I gave it to
the crows.   Maybe I dried it too long also.  If he is going to eat it
pretty fast can you refrigerate it to be a little safer?  I guess it
might get kind of yucky when the oil or suet gets cold, though.  If it
was me I would go ahead and give it a try.
