I did call the manufacturer, that is how I found out that the Serevent is
still available in inhaler form in Canada. I will talk to the Dr. about retrying
the Singulair in the 5 mg strength. I did ask if the manufacturer if the
active ingredient was available to compounding pharmacies so the med could be
formulated without lactose, but I was told no. I didn't push it at that time.
I've never had a med compounded so I don't know what all it takes. I figured I
would just go with what I can do for now, and figure out the rest later.
Can someone using a diskus inhaler explain to me how they work, please?
Anyone know the ins and outs of compounding pharmacies?
