I would also like to challenge your assertion that sugar can mask the
soy flavour.  [Don]

I guess the sugar doesn't totally mask the soy flavour, it just makes it
taste a lot better than unsweetened soy.  I think it was the 'So Good'
brand of soya milk.  I also tried the strawberry and chocolate flavours
but they still tasted like soy to me.  All soy milk tastes like Weetbix
to me (Australian  breakfast cereal).   I tried a new soy milk at a
health show in London last year and the salesperson was most offended
when I said it still tasted like soy.  Their marketing ploy was that it
didn't taste like other soya milks.
