Hi!

>> Now she's drinking soy milk.

I just read a revealing article in the Price Pottenger Health and Healing
Wisdom magazine Fall 1998 Vol 22, No 3 called Soy Isoflavones: Panacea or
Poison?

Basically it says that Soy Isoflavone should be removed from the FDA's
catagorization as GRAS - (generally regarded as safe) because it is causing
a number of unhealthy side effects in both babies and adults such as breast
cancer, thyroid disease, infertility, liver disease and alterations to the
immune system.

It is estimated that an infant exclusively fed soy formula receives the
estrogenic equivalent of at least five birth control pills per day.

Boys experience delayed or absent maturation because of this and the girls
mature early - some have breasts and pubic hair by age 3.

Other problems include extreme emotional behavior, asthma, immune system
problems, pituitary insufficiency, thyroid disorders, IBS and loss of vision.
