This is my first Thanksgiving with a known dairy allergy and I am looking for
some advice. I understand the need to buy a fresh turkey, or one labeled
Kosher. I called my local supermarket to order a fresh, kosher turkey and
they told me that they have frozen kosher turkeys in the frozen food section.
Now I am confused. Would a frozen turkey taste as good? And does the kosher
label mean there is definetely no dairy ( I would assume so as kosher Jews
don't mix meat and dairy - but is poultry considered meat?). Help!
Kim
