Hi Jill,
I had the same smokey mess happen to me. I think the main problem is that
the recipe could have been for a 2 lb. loaf instead of 1 1/2 pounds. That
was my problem. I have a recipe that works everytime called Walrus Loaf. I
will forward it to you.
Also, make sure that your mix is not too runny; it will fall easily if it
is. I mix everything up before I put it in the bread machine, just in case.
