Our hosts have asked us again to minimize all quoting of prior messages.

As this discussion continues the issues become clearer in my mind. My biggest
problem is excessive quoting and outrageous signatures. I would support an
unlimited number of lines on a list which kept quoting down to what was
necessary to continue the discussion.
[snipped... end of included e-mail]
Two messages were just posted to the list where the entire prior messages
were left *under* the reply. If one can't take one or two lines from the
prior message, and put it in *front* of the response, then it shouldn't be
there at all. In a quiet list like this, with often only one thread going
at a time, there is often no need for any quoting at all.
Please heed the request of our hosts.
Don.
