A 586 CPU indicates this is a 486 generation motherboard.  I
doubt that there is an "on-board" Comm port.  More than likely,
Wayne has a multi I/O card with IDE, printer, game, and COMM
ports all on one card.

If he is lucky, a jumper table will be printed on the back side
of the board.
