*****I could be wrong, but I've never seen a 486 era MoBo with a
PCI bus which means he has all ISA cards.  If he has more
than 3 peripheral cards to transfer, then he will also need to buy a
"PCI-something" to make up for the lose of slots.*****

        There were quite a few later 486 MB that had PCI slots. I have at
least 4 running Dx2/80s in our lab.
