Subject: Re: Speech Scientific Calculators
Thanks Rick. I would like to know the answer to your question as well. My
home page lists several stand-alone scientific calculators with speech
ranging in price from $500 - $600, but I have little feedback as to which
one(s) are really the most useful. Please answer to the listserv. I will
be happy to add your comments to my home page (anonymously or with your name
- your choice!) so that others can benefit.
I do want to point out that there is a relatively new stand-alone calculator
available from Independent Livings Aids, Inc. It's the RNIB (Royal National
Institute for the Blind) Talking Scientific Calculator "built from the
ground up to meet the needs of blind and visually impaired students and
professionals." Call 1-800-537-2118 for more information.
