AbiliTech, a company specializing in the assessment and training of people
with various disabilities through computers and assistive technologies
services clients who:

*       live or work in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and the
        southern edges of         New York.

*       are in elementary or secondary schools, in vocational training
        centers,  or are in any level of college studies.

*       are employed and seeking to advance their position within the
        workplace,         are trying to regain lost employment options, are
in         job jeopardy due to         disability related barriers, etc., and,

*       for anyone who wants to have access to information which can be
        addressed by         electronic means.


At present, AbiliTech is looking for two new employees to work with
children who are blind or visually impaired.  The first position is to work
specifically with children who have multiple impairments with a primary
diagnosis of visual impairment or blindness.  The objective of the position
is to enable children with multiple impairements to communicate with
teachers, peers, and parents.  We are going to develop a universal
multi-impairment assessment and training station and create procedures to
replicate these stations in various settings throughout New Jersey.

This exciting position is opening as a result of monies being made available
through the New Jersey Commission for the Blind.  FOr the next seven months, the
areas of service are primarily in Central and Norhthern New Jersey but will
also extend into the Southern portions of the state by late Spring.

The focus of the second position is to work with children who are visually
impaired or blind, are in the 6th, 7th, or 8th grades,  and are interested
in becoming more computer proficient in the use of computers, in their
homes, for access to the internet.

The service areas are in Central and Southern New Jersey (in student's homes).

The positions require a background in working with assistive technologies,
or children with visual impairments or blindness, or children with multiple
impairments (in EVI areas, communications, augmentative communication
devices, or general computer use, and so on).  People

Applicants should have good communication skills, writing skills, and be
able to independently work and organize case loads and grant requirements.
creativity is definitely a plus,
