Since the below message was posted to me over the list, I will respond
over this list.

Am I touchy? I speak the truth as I see it. Ren said that he will pray for
me. That is something like a person who likes meat offering it to a
vegetarian. Regardless of the intention, if you know the person doesn't
eat meat, the offer is inappropriate, to say the least.

Although I still engage in discussions and attend lectures that present
the arguments for God's existance, the evidence is far from conclusive.

If prayers were effective, I would have all the incentives to take
advantage of them and to solicit prayers from others. Again the evidence
is lacking.

Just because my beliefs do not incorporate the supernatural does not mean
that they are not worthy of respect. I am a vegetarian, so please, no meat
for me. I am a rationalist, so please, no prayers. But that apple pie
smells great!
