I just helped someone yesterday who had shut down their Packard Bell system,
unplugged it and moved it to a new location, plugged it back in and after
booting up went to Start/Programs and the menu was empty. I ran grpconv /s
to rebuild the menu but when that didn't work I checked the Windows
directory and found that there were no group files. Has anyone seen this
happen before? How could the group files just vanish? I told her to
reinstall Windows 95 to rebuild the groups and to reinstall applications to
get their groups back.

Thanks,

Dale Bryant
