I think that your BIOS can regcognize a hdd over 2.1 Gb. My old 486DX2-50Mhz
computer whose BIOS is 5 years old!!(BIOS 1993) did very well. I used the
auto hdd detection in CMOS setup program and it regcognized the hdd
correctly. I even don't need to  refdisk the 2.1 with the computer. After
that i can start using data on the disk. but, the problem is that the 2.1Gb
hdd cannot boot. I have to boot from the 420Mb hdd and then with windows 95B
to use data on the 2.1.

p/s ah, I think in order to use big hdd, you must have win95B or later.
Without Win95B, DOS cannot hand over hdd over 540Megs
