Tracy:

Check the voltage on the CPU first. Some Cyrix chips take
a slightly different voltage.

Then check the RAM, verifying proper seating. Also check the
video card for seating. In fact, check every component for
proper connection and for short circuiting.

Finally, get into CMOS and check your setup. Select slower and
more conservative RAM settings.

I would NOT use the foam anti-static pad as a backing to the
motherboard. Defeats cooling, and is a possible fire hazzard.
