<Have you checked to see if your hard drive ribbon cable is securely

<WIn98? You were not too clear on this point. Possibly you are
<loading the wrong drivers for the card...
<If the cable is secure and you continue to receive these error

Thanks for answering. I have checked the ribbon cable and it seems
secure on both ends. I have removed the Sound Blaster card. I have
also Fdisked and formatted the drive. The error message I'm getting
now is during the installation on WIN 98 after the Fdisk & formatting.
I just got an idea from another post on another subject. I wonder if
the ribbon cable could be bad. I have a new cable and will try it.
Wish me luck.
