Some devices can perform this way. My home PC has a Zip drive connected to
the computer, a scanner connected to the Zip and a printer off the scanner.
I was even successful (once) at adding a video camera between the scanner
and printer. The biggest problem is when two or more of the devices are
trying to use the port at the same time, such as scanning while printing
and the more devices connected, the higher the odds of that occurring. With
careful planning of which devices to connect and considering how much
access they will have at the same time, you can add extras.

BTW, has anyone had experience with the LPT cards with 4 ports on them?
Supposedly you can configure them as LPT1-8, with a lot of configuration
options.
