I had problems with dirt on keys for several years with my two sub-teens.
The cleaning got to be a chore and I finally got a "Keyboard skin".  Even
tho' it cost more than the keyboard, I am still using the same keyboard
after 4 years of use.  The "skin" is virtually invisible and does not
effect the key "feel". You have to look close to see it.  I have not had to
clean it since installing, in spite of coffee, coke and hundreds of cookie
crumbs.
