Dear folks;
 Young man decided to upgrade his machine, removed a Sony CD from his
Creative SB (forgot to disable drivve interface), installed an Acer 24X
plug and pray. CD not recognized by Win95, no install disks came with
unit. Now although AMI Bios auto detects his 1Gig HD, Win95 says it is
only 530meg. He is set up to run LBA on onboard PCI primary and
secondary. Looking at device manager shows (Yellow Exclamations)
primary IDE controller [single fifo] - secondary IDE controller {single
fifo].
 Although the Quantum HD was set up with one full partion, FDISK shows
only 530meg partition.
 Checked for virus, subbed BIOS IC, replaced IDE cable, disabled sound
card interface, reconfigured cmos.
 Any thoughts appreciated.
