I saw a scanner on sale for $89 the other day. It was a 30 bit 4800x4800dpi
vivitar scanner. It also has 300x600 optical resolution. What is the
difference between the 4800x48000 and the optical resolution? I want a
scanner but I don't know what to look for.
Can someone help me out? Does this sound like a good deal? Again, this
is the ViviScan Compact III.

TIA,
Michi Imamura
