I'm connecting two computers in my house. I'm using 2 ethernet
cards, one PCI for my Pentium II and one ISA for my 486 DX4/100. I have
a couple of questions:
    1) How do I know if the network is working? How do I test the cable?
Is there any software I could run to test the network?

    2) I want to use Win95 for connecting both computers. How do I setup
Win95 for the most safe configuration?

Both computers are 50 ohm terminated. I had some experience
installing & configuring a couple of computers for networking a couple
of years ago. They were added to the network on campus. My problem now
is the configuration is a different, and I don't know where. TIA
