Sometimes the drives do not like the particular media the CD has been
written on. I have a NEC SCSI CD-ROM that will only read Cdr.'s I write on
Memorex CD's. All other CD's will not be recognized or cannot be accessed.
The NEC CD-ROM is only a year old. If you are using crw's there are only a
few CD-ROM's that will read cdrw's besides the cdrw that wrote it. The Teac
32x CD-ROM will read all Cdr.'s and crw's I write no matter which media I
use.
