Hi,

I just added a new parallel port add-on card to my Pentium 200MMX system
to add a second printer. I thought it would be cheaper than buying a
switch box. The new one works fine. But there is a problem when I try to
print to the printer installed to the original parallel port. It gives
me the the generic error message telling me that there is an error printing
to LPT1. What gives?
I checked the device profile and it has no conflicts. I tired both
printers on either port. I adjusted the jumpers on the card to
accomodate the irq and I\O address. What else should I do? Here
are my system specs.

Pentium 200MMX
VX mobo
32 MB EDO RAM
33.6 modem
PCI sound card
STB 128 bit video card
lpt2 add-on card
32x-speed CD-rom
1.2 and 2.5 GB HD
TWO PRINTERS (Canon BJC 4300 and Panasonic kx series dot matrix)

Thanks,
Michi Imamura
