I was curious about the IGG antigliadin antibody blood tests. Recently, each
one of my children had this initial screening test. They all turned out
positive, as anything 20 and over was positive. My youngest had a 40, my
middle child had a 74 and my oldest child had a 60. I was wondering how high
could these values go? I was wondering how high my childrens' values are in
relation, say to someone with active symptoms. By the way, my children all
are seemingly healthy, so I will be having further blood tests done before
they have any biopsies done.

Needless to say, I was somewhat in shock when these tests came back and I
fully expected them to be negative. Of course I realize they may be false
positives and I guess it would be easier all around for everyone if they are.
I am meeting a lot of opposition from both my husband and my two oldest
children and it makes me feel very alone as no one understands my concern in
this area.

I would appreciate any help in this and also if anyone else has gone through
this with relatives. Thanks, Barbara
