I am interested in this thread too.It is believed that a virus can trigger off
the full blown Coeliac symptoms, and yet when I was travelling in Asia for 6
months I suffered with dirrhoea most of the time and the C.D. did not surface
then. In fact I blamed it on my second pregnancy. Have you heard of the Adno
Virus 12 factor? This is supposed to be a trigger. After the virus has
passed through your body, when you next ingest gluten it appears to be the
same and you become ill. Maybe that's explaining it too simply. Can anyone
help on this?
