Hi Steve!
A couple of possibilities:
1. In CMOS, how is your parallel port set up? If it can be set up as a
ECP or EPP parallel port, and your printer supports it, it should
speed stuff up.
2. How is data being sent to the printer? In the Details tab of your
printer (Control Panel\Printers, right click on your BJC4100 icon and
choose properties), look for a button called spool settings. In this
dialog box, you can choose to use RAW or EMF for your spool data
format. EMF is much faster than RAW, though some printers don't
understand that format (I believe yours will).Also make sure that
bi-directional support is enabled here (see #1 above).
