Giday from down under, I am delighted to have joined your list server and
hope to learn a great deal from it. This is my second attempt to send this
message so I'm not batting a hundred!!

I am conducting a research project on behalf of the National Federation of
Blind Citizens of Australia in relation to accessibility of graphical user
interfaces and multi media in communications for students in the vocational
and education training sector who are vision impaired.

Part of the project methodology involves gathering data from around the
world, identifying projects that are currently being completed or have been
conducted in relation to vision impairment and computers including internet
access. I would love to hear from anyone who is involved in research or
projects in relation to computers and vision impairment.

I would also appreciate any contact names or email addresses of individuals
or organisations who are investigating whether or not blind or vision
impaired individuals are being alienated by the new computer learning
environment, or being denied equitable access to vocational education and
training courses as a consequence of a lack in the availability of adaptive
technology resources, as a result of cost or location.

I look forward to hearing from one and all

Anne Bradford
