Hello All,

I got this message from a friend of a friend. The woman in question works
with adaptive technology in Canada, and she is not a specialist in the
area, works for a company which apparently hires blind people and the
woman is a generalist in computer equipment in the company. Can somebody
tell me how she can do what she wants to do with the installation of
DecTalk below? I am at a loss myself and would like to be of help to her.

Steve

I am hoping either you can help me or you might know someone who can
help me
I just tried to install the software for Dectalk Express on our adaptive
workstation.
When install is typed at the A:\ prompt, it automatically looks for
space on the D:\ drive. Unfortunately, when the adaptive work station
was first being built, space
was not added to create the D:\. All the space is on the C:\. there is
no place in
the software installation to let me choose C:\ over D:\ drive. The
software is predesigned in the install area to look for the D:\.
Do you have any ideas? Or do you know someone who might be able to
help?
The only thing I can think of is to reallocate space to the D:\ drive.
Unfortunately,
to do this, the C:\ needs to be reformatted as well and the information
currently on
there (and there is A LOT) will be lost and has to be reinstalled. :-(
I'm hoping there is another way and the person who is able to help isn't
here (at a meeting).

Angela
