Hi all
I have learned from listening to various e-mails recently that there are
several of you who have a technical background and would like to put out a
question.

How much electricity does a modern day PC consume?
About four years ago I was told that if I left my 486 running 24 hours a day
that it would be the same as leaving a 100 watt light on.
Now I am hearing that a Pentium and some peripherals, printer, scanner etc
will use as much as a refridgerator. I find this hard to believe.
can anybody confirm this?
Thank you
Stewart
