I am a sighted computer user (62 years old) and have converted everything to
Windows except for my DOS Version of Peachtree (accounting program). The
learning curve is tremendous for me and I did try to convert this program in
1996 but gave up and went back to DOS. It was the easy way out at the time.
In the next 2 weeks I am being forced to learn the Windows version of this
program as the cost for my tax updates for DOS are approximately $400.00 as
opposed to the Windows update at $130. Economic circumstances make us do
strange things!

We all like being comfortable and any change is difficult and presents a new
learning challenge.
