To send to a group and not have all the addresses listed at the start, you
need touse the BCC: line which stands for "blind carbon copy"
When you are on the To: field, invoke the rich header with control-r and
BCC: will appear along with some others. Enter the addresses on this
line, either separated by commas or use an alias for the group of
addresses.
If you ever want help in pine, type control-g and it will try to give you
help appropriate to the task you are about to perform. Use e to exit
