>Also, is anyone interested in a source for almond flour?
If you live in the Maryland area, you can get almond flour at Ann's House
of Nuts on Rt. 1 in Jessup, just a couple of blocks off I-95 (between DC
and Baltimore). (301) 369-0962. It's 3.78 per pound. I bought some at
Christmas time to add to cutout cookie dough. (Yeah, I know, not Paleo,
but I bake for other people.) I've been trying to figure out what to do
with the leftover flour, so thanks for the recipes. They say they ship,
but I don't know how much extra that is or if they just ship the fancier
stuff. The retail store seems to just have bulk items. Right now they
only have two 5 lb. bags left and won't have more for a couple of weeks.
They also have a wholesale department. They have all kinds of nuts,
including raw almonds. Also pecan and walnut meats, unsweetened coconut
flakes and dried fruit. I don't eat dried fruit, so I didn't look to see
if it has added sugar. The problem is, they are only open Monday-Friday,
regular business hours.
