Salicylates are relatively high in oranges and salicylate
allergy/intolerance can contribute to both asthma and eczema. If
removing oranges helps, check out other foods containing salicylates.

Other common foods that contain salicylates are:

Tomato, alfalfa, chilli, onion, broccoli, olives, broad bean,
spinach, egg plant, mints, meat pastes, most herbs/spices. This is
not extensive - a full list should be able to be obtained from a good
allergist or your local asthma foundation.
