There was a comment on this list a few days ago stating 
that G. D. Searle's Demelen birth control pills (BCPs) now 
contain lactose. This is not quite true. Only the seven placebo 
pills that some women take so that they have a pill every day 
and don't get out of cycle contain lactose. The actual BCPs 
that are taken the other 21 days of the cycle are still lactose-free.
