Our kids were breastfed for 2 years each. For Josh, our most allergic, we
supplemented with soy formula after approx. age 1, and eventually added
other foods, but kept with the soy formula until approx. age 8. With so
many allergies, it was great to know that he was getting a good, reliable
source of protein, vitamins, and calcium. I'm not recommending this as a
general prescription for all, but for a child with multiple food allergies,
it helps to have a staple that is well tolerated and nutritional.
